For over a decade, Brad Herold has been a rising force in conservative politics, running high-profile Republican campaigns and political organizations across Florida and the country.

In 2018, Herold joined Something Else*, serving as a media consultant and campaign manager to Ron DeSantis for Governor. A longtime DeSantis loyalist, Herold helped Governor DeSantis defy the odds and win an upset primary victory despite being massively outspent. Although almost every public poll predicted defeat in the general election, Herold worked to direct campaign advertising and grassroots efforts for Governor DeSantis and his historic general election win.

Herold is well-versed in building organizations from the ground up and throughout his career, his campaigns have been recognized for being creative, organized, cutting-edge, fun and most of all – effective.

During the 2016 cycle, Herold served as the Executive Director of the Republican Party of Florida where he managed one of the largest budgets in Republican politics and helped lay the groundwork for President Trump’s successful presidential election. Also in 2016, Herold served as campaign manager and general consultant for Congressman Ron DeSantis in the Florida 6th Congressional District.

Over the years, Brad has worked for many of Florida’s top political leaders including U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, Governor Rick Scott, House Speaker Will Weatherford and House Majority Leader Adam Hasner.

Today, Herold, his wife, and their two boys make their home in Birmingham, Alabama where he is clinging to the hopes that Florida State will once again field a competitive football team and hopelessly outnumbered on Fall Saturday’s by his wife’s Auburn brethren.
